Immerse yourself in the eventful rural life of 100 years ago! A four-sided courtyard that is around 250 years old brings a bygone world to life. Authentically designed living and utility rooms as well as animal residents take you back in time. Visit a village school from around 1900 in the converted outhouse .  Discover this fascinating world of rural life from back then in the Markersdorf Village Museum, which shows traditional customs and traditional agricultural work.

Experience the fascinating world of the Ice Age Village climbing rock in Krauschwitz, an outstanding highlight of the adventure glacier world in the former Helmut-Just Stadium , right next to the Krauschwitz adventure pool, which is open all year round.  The site is located in the UNESCO “Muskauer Fold Arch” Geopark, an important geological heritage from past ice ages. Since the Krauschwitz local group was founded in August 2018 in the Zittau section of the German Alpine Club, this has underlined the relevance and appeal of this climbing rock. Experience this exciting world and enjoy the adventure of climbing amidst an impressive geological backdrop!

the fascinating world of the Upper Lusatian heath and pond landscape  in the HOUSE OF A THOUSAND POND visitor center in Wartha The exhibition highlights the biosphere reserve and the centuries-old tradition of pond management. Highlights include a film about the reserve, a giant aquarium, a laboratory with insights into the flora and fauna and a carp kitchen. The house sits on a historic 19th century four-sided farm and offers a glimpse into the history of the area.

Discover the nature of Upper Lusatia in the Görlitz Natural History Museum with the highest species richness in Germany. In fascinating dioramas you can experience wolves, sea eagles, otters and cranes up close. The museum also shows the geological history of the region and is a successful end to any visit to Görlitz.

Welcome to Kinder-Spiel-Land (KSL) – the first indoor playground in Görlitz! Exciting attractions await you in the almost 1000 square meter hall in the Rosenhof. From trampolines to a ball shooting arena to a huge climbing module – there is something for everyone here. As the cold sets in, the gate opens to an inviting covered ice rink. A variety of possibilities await you on a spacious ice surface of around 1,680 m².  

You can enjoy elegantly gliding across the ice, put your ice hockey skills to the test and demonstrate precise marksmanship in curling. Exciting moments also await you at the “Tornados” ice hockey games. There is also the opportunity to move to the rhythm of the music at ice discotheques.  

It is of course possible to rent skates on site. You are cordially invited to experience the wintry atmosphere in this covered ice stadium and spend happy hours together on the ice.
