Ride a bike

Forests, ponds, lakes, mountain peaks, villages and historic towns make our Neißeland diverse and ideal for cycling tours. The tours can be selected according to interest, endurance and fitness, suitable for families with small children or trained recreational athletes. North of Niesky the paths lead through flat land, while the hilly south offers more challenging routes, especially around the Königshainer Berge and the Rotstein.

The Oder-Neiße cycle path is the best-known long-distance cycle path that leads through the Neisseland. Coming from the Czech Republic, the cycle path runs over 630 kilometers along the German-Polish border to the Baltic Sea island of Usedom. In addition, the Frog Cycle Path, Spree Cycle Path, Fürst-Pückler Cycle Path and the Saxon City Route are nationally important cycle paths in addition to the many smaller cycle tours through our region.

Numerous hosts offer cozy accommodation and bike rentals. E-bike riders find opportunities to charge their batteries in many places.
